After The Rainfall

This week has seen the second stage of devising on Curious Directive's new show "After The Rainfall". The piece has a work-in-process showing on Sunday 6th May at "The Junction" as part of their "Festival of Performance". This is what the Junction have to say on the show:

After the Rainfall is a new piece of work currently being devised by Fringe First winning company curious directive (Your Last Breath, 2011). This showing will be the first time the ensemble has aired their ideas about the project to the public.
The piece is a response to Britain’s current place in our interconnected world. It creates three stories and imagines one in the future, and interweaves ideas about British colonialism based upon territory, natural resources, artefacts and the woman who binds this all together as our figurehead, our monarch.
Come and see a selection of movement sequences, scenes and ideas for storyboarding currently under development, and then join the ensemble for a Q&A session. Audience feedback is a vital stage of the company's devising process, and curious directive are keen  to develop a creative dialogue with the audience at Sampled.
* A work in progress sharing (15 day version).
